I'm so happy to see they moved the Menorah to the first floor, and they kosherized the kitchen (again). I have kosherized my kitchen for entertaining and it's a lovely process. I wish I could have witnessed it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Oooooh. Careful, now. That big bad candle might just set the WH aflame worse than it was in 1814.
Perhaps the Jewish people would not be comfortable lighting the Menorah in the East Room with its Nativity scene. Looking at the photos, it looks to be a very nice event. Since the front door is primarily ceremonial, the Entrance Hall has become a room in its own right, as I have noted before.
