Sharp-eyed readers may have noticed a new photo of me on the blog profile and the About page of the WHM that looks less like a self-portrait of a photography enthusiast taken in a mirror. I think it compares favorably with the one of Clinton looking like he had a little Captain in him.
Aside to John: I know how you like furniture, so before you ask--Yes, that's a genuine 2005 Flexsteel "C5365" armchair covered in teal velveteen. Only the finest for Diamond VIP members at the Pittsburgh Doubletree.

WooHoo! Upholstered in really gloomy deep red velvet, that chair would be perfect in Edith Roosevelt's Red Room!
ReplyDeleteVery nice new picture of Our Museum Director.
The one of Bill Clinton is a bit frightening... I don't think that's the actual Official Portrait... They showed that in a recent issue of White House History.
We do like "a little Captain" ( it's great over ice, with Coca-Cola...) here in New Orleans. Especially with Mardi Gras right around the corner.
Actually, with what we've been through since Katrina, just about ANY escape mechanism is a Good Thing.
